Little & Lovely: Baby Emmy

What do you get with a sunny Sunday afternoon and an awesome mom and dad to boot?? You get Baby Emmy! Emmy was 7 weeks old during her shoot and she was an absolute hoot to photograph. There were moments when she just stared at the camera channeling her best Sunset Blvd. look.

We just love this shot! With no care in the background Emmy does her thing.

We were mesmerized by the color of eyes (I say greyish with a tint of blue but some aheemmmm (Lawrence) begs to differ. I mean, how can you not get lost in them? They're gorgeous!

I couldn't resist from putting this photo up. Jen and Eric wanted us to take photos of Emmy during her bath time, to see how calmed and relaxed she would be. I don't think Emmy particularly liked her little mohawk. The adults had a kick out of this more than she did but even when she cried she was still such an adorable little peanut!

Pounds & Inches: Lara

Her name is Lara Jazmine. I'm a sucker for babies because they're just so adorable and they smell good! Ever notice how babies smell good even when they haven't been given a bath? But I digress. This was an intimate shoot inside the Arcadio family's home. Lara slept and ate most of the time so the shoot was interrupted quite a bit. What can I say, the client needs her milk! I was at her mercy. Every now and then I got a chance to hold her. Makes me want one of my own...BUT that's a different topic for a different day. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs Arcadio and welcome Baby Lara! Your family of 3 has now grown to a family of 4.
